On the Ping is the elegant riverside restaurant at sala lanna Chiang Mai, serving Thai food, Italian and western dishes throughout the day and evening. Located right next to the restaurant, the refined River Bar is open daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Overseeing On the Ping is Chef Manit (“Arm”) Chuenchom, our new Executive Sous Chef, who has a wealth of experience at top hotels and restaurants in Thailand and Singapore. A former culinary instructor at Four Seasons Chiang Mai’s Cooking Studio and the recent Head Chef at The Ironwood Restaurant, Chef Arm now brings his exceptional skill and creativity to guests at sala lanna Chiang Mai.
At the River Bar, guests and unwind and soak up the chilled-out waterfront vibe with an extended selection of local craft beers, including Red Truck, Chalawan, Chiang Mai Beer, Chatri, Bussaba and Phuket Beer, plus a wide range of imported beers, premium spirits and fine wines. Chef Arm will also oversee an enticing menu of tapas and homemade pizzas.
Guests can perch on bar stools or recline on comfy beanbags at the outdoor bar whilst listening to the live band, whose music can also be enjoyed from the adjacent restaurant and rooftop.
